2022
Coming from South Sulawesi and East Kalimantan, we met in 2022 in the city of Fakfak, West Papua. We both were CPNS Ministry of Law and Human Rights at the beginning of our acquaintance. We found our common ground in our educational background in Psychology. From there we got to know each other.
2023
We started communicating more frequently then we discovered a lot more things in common. Our differences oddly match each other like puzzle pieces. That is when we realised that we have grown interested in each other. Then we decided to seek guidance from Allah through Salat al-Istikhaara in hope for Allah to decree for us what is good, wherever it may be, and make us content with it.
2024
In more or less than a year, with the intention of seeking Allah’s blessing, we asked approval for marriage from our parents. We were getting to know each other’s personality, family, religious backgrounds, social, cultural, educational and future goals. On Thursday, May 9th 2024, our family officially met for khitbah.
Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said that when a man marries he has fulfilled half of his religion so let him fear Allah with regard to the other half. Insha Allah our wedding will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024. May our marriage be blessed with the guidance and wisdom of Allah.
